What is Resolution Coaching?
- Supporting parents and their children with a number of issues they may be having at home.
- Offers parents an avenue to tap into the parenting tools they already possess and supports them in making value based decisions.
- Offers gentle reminders that help parents recognize the importance of removing angry and frustrated feelings before communicating their needs and wants.
Resolution coaching is a confidential service for parents in need of professional support in dealing with difficult situations at home. It is not a counselling service and sessions are not a time to get advice from a professional but rather a place to gain personal direction, and the motivation to start taking action.
Over the last 10 years of working with children and youth in varying capacities, I have come to believe that parents inherently have the knowledge they need to raise healthy, happy, and balanced children. The frustrating and anxiety provoking part of parenting is learning to communicate effectively with children in order to gain balance in the home.
Communicating with your children is not easy, in our society of instant gratification (wanting everything NOW) it’s hard to keep up and set appropriate boundaries. . We hope our giving will help them feel happy enough to make it through life in one piece and yet we know that giving everything can be detrimental. Whether you feel that you aren’t getting the gratitude that you deserve or the respect that you need, this coaching service will help you weed out the obstacles and re-establish ground within yourself, your home, and help reconnect you to your family.
